1 Comerica Mobile Banking is available to Comerica Web Banking® customers. Balances and transaction details are only available for certain Comerica accounts. Bill payment can only be done with existing billers set up through Comerica Web Bill Pay®. Comerica will bear the responsibility for any late-payment related charges (up to $50) should a payment arrive after its due date, as long as your payment was scheduled in accordance with Comerica Web Banking Terms and Conditions. 2 Comerica Click&Capture Deposit® is available to customers that have both Comerica Web Banking® and Comerica Mobile Banking®. Please keep your mobile deposited paper check(s) in a safe place until the funds are posted to your account, then securely destroy them. Regular deposit fees may apply, see your Account Fee brochure for fee information. Deposit limits and other restrictions may apply per deposit. 3 Must be enrolled in Web Banking and Zelle®. A U.S. checking or savings account is required to use Zelle®. Transactions between enrolled users typically occur in minutes but can take up to three days. If a recipient is not enrolled with Zelle®, it could take 1 to 3 business days to receive the money once the enrollment is completed. Zelle® is to be used for payments between friends, family and businesses you know and trust. We do not recommend that you use Zelle® to send money to people you do not know. To send and receive money with a small business, both parties must be enrolled with Zelle® directly through their financial institution’s online or mobile banking experience. Zelle® and the Zelle® related marks are wholly owned by Early Warning Services, LLC and are used herein under license.

Quick Balance is not recommended for shared devices. If you allow others to access your device, they may be able to view your Quick Balance information. You may change this setting at any time.

Missing basic information

This is more about Comerica as a whole. 1st off, I have a HELOC, a checking account, and a credit card with them. It’s great that you can see the normal checking information, including the ability to take a pic of checks to deposit.

With the HELOC portion, there is no history. Nothing whatsoever. No last months balance vs this month. No rate, not even how much will come out of my direct deposit from my checking. This is just very shady business practice! It’s like they are purposely trying to hide this information.

The next is why isn’t my credit card information linked to my banking? Yes, they are separate departments, but it’s the same bank and the same company! This is once again them living in the 90’s with their banking. Terrible job.

Constant crashes and simply doesn’t work!

UPDATE: March 6th, 2023. I've already closed my main accounts and only have one minor savings left with Comerica. However, I just "updated" the app and it's literally the same exact app, just slightly re-skinned, but they're trying to say it offers "new features." There's nothing new, at all, the menus and logo just look different. This is absolutely pathetic. I encourage anyone who still has accounts with this institution, to close them and go elsewhere, if you're able to. ORIGINAL REVIEW: This app is seriously the worst, most archaic mobile banking app I’ve ever come across in my life! How can a financial institution have an app THIS BAD in 2023?!? Half the time it won’t even load and I have to delete it and re-install. I do that at least twice a week, usually more. I’m so done with Comerica. I’ve had my accounts since 2001 and I’m so fed up that I’m closing them by the end of this week and banking elsewhere. I don’t even know how this bank is still in business. The brick & mortar branches are just as bad as the app! Good riddance!!

Immediate hot fix required

The latest update is a huge improvement over the last app, but push notifications are broken. I enabled alerts in the last update of the app and every time I get a notification the app needs to be deleted and reinstalled because the app boot loops. The setting was set in an older version, and EVEN after updating the app it must be reinstalled. I have gone through and disabled the setting manually in the app, and I have DISABLED push notifications permissions, but local push notifications still happen; and the app dies. I can’t turn off my notifications and every time I get a notice of a deposit, or a balance hitting my threshold. I HAVE TO REINSTALL THE APP. I HATE MY LIFE, please patch this asap; I am on my last legs with this bank, I can’t take any more late fees, etc because it takes 5 minutes to check anything with this app. This bug is a deal breaker, and sadly I will have to move to a new bank if this isn’t fixed promptly.
