Used to be the best fanfiction app

So I wrote a review back when this was first updated singing the praises of the app (praises well deserved before said update and for reasons that are technically still valid). The new ads, however, have completely ruined the experience I’ve had with this app. They’re invasive, constant, and have no cool down. So if you’re trying to go back in a story that has just been updated after a long hiatus because you can’t remember what happened and are just flicking through chapters to get a quick reminder, you WILL get an ad for every chapter you touch. It’s highly frustrating especially considering how fantastic this app used to be. There isn’t even a way to disable them. In the App Store it says there is an in app purchase available but I can’t find anywhere to do so. Please, please, please change how the ads work. Even just putting in a cool down would make it slightly better. (Preferably I would say change it back to a constant ad on the bottom, I genuinely didn’t mind that, but you probably changed it for some reason I don’t understand. So... yeah.)

At this point...I’d pay to not have ad’s!!

I’ve used this app for years and have loved it [and would have been willing to give it 5 stars butttt]... The Ads are long videos that you can’t click out of right away. Whereas before it was just at the bottom of the screen. I use this app for the simplicity of it and would be willing to pay a one time fee to have a pro version with no Ads!!!

Other suggestions: the ability to read and leave comments! I guess that would mean being able to connect your account too and lastly it would be really dope to be able to backup your list of stories. Every time I get a new phone I have to add each story over one-by-one

Search No longer works?

I’m giving this 3 stars instead of 1 because I used to love this app. I took a bit of a break from FanFiction and just came back and all of my old stories are still there and great. And my last search still works. However, when I try to change categories, it tells me I am not connected to the Internet and won’t let me change anything. I have tried restarting the app and refreshing what I can, but it doesn’t seem to be working. Please fix this when you can or let us know if there is a workaround. Thanks!!
