Description
HomeWave is a fully customizable remote control app for use with MiCasaVerde's Vera home control system (Z-Wave), and also compatible with OpenLuup. The control panel presents a clean, simple interface aimed at end users who are not familiar with Z-Wave or Vera, but who simply want to turn on the lights or adjust the heating.
HomeWave will work on your LAN as well as remotely via the MIOS / GetVera gateway service. Most popular Z-wave devices are supported.
Note that HomeWave (unlike other Z-Wave apps) does not display all your Z-Wave devices by default! When you first launch the app, you'll start with a clean slate; you will have to manually add those Z-Wave devices you wish to control from the app.

Most plugins with a user interface specific to that device (as opposed to the device interfaces as found in Vera) will most likely not work or have limited functionality only.

Love it... but have a feature request
Love the app! I wish there was a way to mirror device controls so you could have them on multiple screens. For example, lights could be under individual rooms as well as devices in general. Also, you could select existing controls to include them in a favorites screen. Currently you can do it, but you have to create a new control for each screen, which makes it harder to make changes with the controls getting out of sync. If this feature is already there, I haven’t found it.
Love this App!
I have been using this app for many years. Keep in mind this is a highly customizable app. So it does take some time to play with. With that said it has allowed me to make home automation ‘easy’ for the rest of my family. Things can be as easy or as complex as you want them to be. I’m moving off Vera to another competitor. So I won’t be able to use HomeWave. I’m sad it is not compatible. But if you have Vera and want to make a custom touchscreen with you IOS device. HomeWave is great. I have been using it for years.
Exceptional app
It does what it claims to do. Because I could build my own custom interface to control all my Vera controlled devices this app has been key in keeping me content.
But now it seems I’ll soon be stepping up to the Ezlo controller. Will this app still work? I sure hope so.
