Description

The Vocal Pathology: Paresis/Paralysis app helps students and patients learn and professionals teach vocal pathologies. The app features bilateral paralysis, paresis, superior nerve and unilateral videos. Each disorder case includes a key highlight view of abducted and adducted vocal folds. All disorders and normal video include an audio clip of the patient reading the rainbow passage. A normal animated vocal fold illustration, structure ID and three normal videos help patients and students both learn and contrast pathologies against normal vocal folds. Amazing

As a Medical Speech-Language Pathologist who specializes in voice and swallowing, I love this app. I routinely perform Laryngeal Videostroboscopies, and when first starting out, this app was indispensable. I would have paid more for longer videos, but it's a minor thing - you can gain the most pertinent info of vocal fold pathology from the clips included.

The app is easy to navigate and you can switch between the audio and video for each case study easily. Thank you for these apps! I wish you would make one complete one with all modules - it would be worth $20 easily!
