Description
Make your TV a cozy fireplace or set a romantic mood with flickering candles on your TV, with your Chromecast device.
You can choose a crackling fireplace or romantic flickering candles as the live background for your TV (that has a connected Chromecast device). You can select the background with your iPhone or iPad.
The fireplace and candles are *not* static images, but are alive and moving.
Plus points:
* HD quality live backgrounds
* These are not streaming videos and so, do not consume any significant network bandwidth.
* You can keep running the live backgrounds for hours without wasting your bandwidth.
* Once loaded, there are no buffering delays while watching the live backgrounds.
* The live background will keep showing even after you disconnect your iPhone or iPad (Tap the 'Exit app on TV' button to quit the application on your TV).
The fireplace has crackling audio too (you can use your TV's remote to change its volume).
So go ahead, turn off the lights and set the perfect mood, with a fire going or romantic candles flickering on your TV! :-)

It doesn't work
The fireplace doesn't show up. It only sounds like a fireplace. The candles work though.
JUST SAY NO - TWO CHOICES - BOTH LAME LOOPS!!!
I just think anyone buying this should be aware that 1) it does work as opposed to what others have said, but 2) it is the shortest loop I have ever seen. The fireplace is a four second loop that pauses each time before it starts the loop over again, and the candles is a one second loop that just continually repeats itself every second. You could not actually look at this for more than 10 seconds without figuring out that it is not even a simulation of a real video. We use a classic "YULE LOG" on a 30 minute loop in our fireplace television already and it works great. But, this is really lane, even for $.99. I figured for that price what could you lose – well, I lost a buck. Maybe I will save you the trouble ;-)
Big roaring fire -no extinguisher required
Kind of a fun quirky app. Fire is big orange crackling glow filling your TV screen. Sort of makes you feel warmer after a while.
