Started off great but drops constantly

I like the ease of app but it takes forever to load cameras 5-12, and crashes often! I need to be able to view my cameras AWAY from home on my iPhone. It doesn't work on 4g which I'm on half the time because not near public wifi a lot. How can I view remotely on 4g? Lastly, it keeps crashing my wifi router at home forcing us to keep resetting the router!

Won't work on cellular

Only works when I'm connected to the network the cameras are on which is pointless because I'm already at the monitor

Developer Response ,

Dear 2NDLQQK,

Thanks for your feedback!

May I ask are you T-mobile unlimited data plan customer?

The DVR is using P2P technology which makes it really easy to connect without needs port forwarding. T-mobile is blocking P2P connections for customers who are using their unlimited data plan. So customers like you might only view the DVR remotely via WiFi.

We're trying to negotiate with T-mobile now. If you're customers of AT&T, Verizon, you won't be affected.

Sandee

New version no longer works

The push settings no longer work in latest version and it lost support for T-Mobile iOS devices due to them requiring ipv6 traffic only. This app only supports connection via ipv4 either over WiFi or a vpn.

Developer Response ,

Dear Rlum905391,

Thanks for your feedback!

The push alert function is all okay now (was disabled for two days due to a technical glitch.) We're really sorry about that! Please give it another try.

Regarding the T-mobile devices, it is not about the IPV4 or IPV6. T-mobile is blocking their unlimited data plan customers from using P2P functions. We're trying to negotiated with them. For customers of carriers like Verizon/AT&T etc., you may use the data to view the DVR remotely for sure.

Regards,

Sandee
