A human that realize that art, music, games and science is totally interconnected. Are you human enough to play Xoiiox?

Programmed by Robin Enhorn built on initial work by Kondensator.
Game concept graphics and sound design by Håkan Lidbo.

Humans have created art and music for a long time.

The oldest flute found is 35.000 years old.

The first game known dates back to the birth of mankind.

Maybe this is what made us human. What made us civilized. Maybe this is why our spieces survived and the neanderthals didn’t.

Art, music and games. In ancient times, games were played by the gods. Sometimes with people as pieces. Their destiny decided by the outcome of the game.

In a novel by herman hesse some sort of super priests play the glass bead game. The components of the game are science, art and philosophy. All interconnected.

Like in these stories of the games of the gods can strategic thinking be applied to science, politics or life in general?

And how about art and music?

Pople are not gods but today a new spieces is being born. A human 2.0. Digitally enhanced with access ot an abundance of information. All connected to each other. Xoiiox is a game for humans 2.0.

Like in chess the pieces have different values. Like in the glass bead game, playing games and creating art are two sides of the same thing.

Most computer games today and most digital music tools have a low learning curve.

Xoiiox is not easy but niether is chess. Or learning how to play the violin.

This is a game for humans 2.0 that can handle a lot of information. A lot of simultanious inputs.

Are you human enough to play xoiiox?

It’s a board game played by two modern humans in real life, in real time. It can not be played online. It can not be saved. It can not be shared on social media. It takes time to learn. Even longer to master.

Are you human enough to play Xoiiox?
