Not for me (and other forgetful people)
I really wanted to like this app. I think waking up to a positive quote is an excellent idea. Unfortunately it just doesn’t work for me. If you normally keep your phone in silent mode (like I do), you will need to remember to go into the app and put it in “Night Mode” every time before you go to bed. Not only that, you need to leave the phone in unlocked with the app open. If you exit the app or turn off your phone (not all the way off, just turn the screen off), the alarm will not sound. Instead you’ll get a notification and a vibration (if they’re on in your notification settings). Once you open the notification, your alarm will sound, but only if your volume is up. I am far too forgetful for this to work for me. There are too many things you have to do to get it to work properly. I will continue using the alarm clock app that comes with the phone. If you keep your phone on Ringer mode and always keep your volume up, you will probably enjoy this app more than I did. Although I also experienced the app crashing a lot (but that could be my lack of storage) and some of the quotes were just alright (but you can pay for better ones).

Hi Cindi, thanks a lot for taking out time to write this review. Whatever you have said is right. Am really sorry for the bad experience. Actually, third party alarm apps can't make sound when iPhone is in silent mode. For silent mode, it is best to use iPhone's default alarm clock. In fact, rather than setting alarm in Quote Alarm, you can set "Notification Time" instead in app's settings. This way, you can be sure of getting notified of Quote of the Day every day. There's one thing I would like to inform you if you wish to stick to "Night Mode" and that is: you CAN lock the screen in Night Mode and alarm will still ring.
On a side note, I won't suggest you to stick with Night Mode anymore as a major update is about to come soon (in about three weeks) and app is getting a new look and feel. Night Mode will be removed in this update. But at the same time, "better" quotes and even better user experience for browsing quotes is about to come!

I love waking up to this bc unless I unlock my phone to shut it off it will keep waking me up, and the quotes always encourage me to live every day like it’s my last and push myself to the limits!! Definitely amazing!!
