Our Diabetes Prevention and Weight Loss Program covers a variety of health and wellness topics including meal planning, tips for eating away from home, and ways to increase daily physical activity. The Fruit Street mobile app allows program participants to take photos of their food, receive comments on meals from dietitians, and text message with dietitians.
Program Features Include:
• Group Video chat with your Registered Dietitian
• Track your snacks and meals, while tallying daily fruit and vegetable servings, in your food log.

Picture taking of your food and learn
Powerful mental hack. Our recall of what we ate over the month is very poor. In this app and course, we take pictures of every food we eat. These pictures are reviewed by personal dietitian and they can comment. Also, we get to see the pictures of food we ate over the last few months. Seeing what we ate, really is an eye opener. We can also track how the diet is improving with the course provided by the FS. Free fit bit tracker and scale is a bonus.
Great app
This app is so easy to use and really is helping me improve my food choices
Terrible App
Nothing but problems and a complete hassle. Constantly kicks me out of the app so I have to re-log in. Missing basic functionality like notifications on new posts or comments. Emojis in commenting stopped working. Constant bugs where the “fix” was to completely delete the app and reinstall it. Finally quit after all my posts got deleted over the last month, I couldn’t upload photos anymore, and the app completely stopped letting me interact with it.
